This is one of the best homemade buffets I have ever been to. It's not just a restaurant that claims to be homemade-it really is homemade! Everything I tasted was delicious. The buffet price was $8.50 and totally worth every penny! The staff is nice. The place is good and clean. It's cool inside. It's just an all around great place! I highly recommend if you're hungry...HA! You WILL get filled up. The sweet tea is good too! (It's not pretty from the outside but don't let it stop you from going in!!)

Local flare home cookin nothing fancy good food.  Very economical and very tasty.  My husband and I had the Ribeye special, which came with your choice of salad or coleslaw, your choice of potato, and a bread item, and drink was included.  My husband got a beef vegetable soup before the meal and that included a grilled cheese sandwich.  Total bill was $31 such a bargain!
The ribeye steak was a 10 oz steak and was seasoned very well, so much so that it didn't need steak sauce.  We were happy to find this place and will come back again.  The staff was exceptionally friendly as you would except in eastern TN.  The people are wonderful! Lots of locals were there and everyone knew each other.
Good food, good price, good service!

Southern Home cooking, in a clean friendly atmosphere, decore dated... in a nice way.

A friend from NY was visiting... a Local gentelman suggested we try at first I  RESISTED... then thought ok I will have a ice tea...as was mentioned in other reviews, not much to look at from outside, well l was surprised at the kind friendly reception along with clean nonpretentiouse style.
Corporate Homogenization ....   you can hit the cracker barrel next week... try this its slice of Americana,  you won't find at the next exit...

Brought my wife back,  she enjoyed the down home atmosphere, along with the country cooking.

Glad I listened to Mr. Hoyt.

After the Kingdom Hall Sunday 2-18-18

Great little dinner. Don't let the outside keep you from trying it. Food was good and cooked perfectly. Buffet for breakfast and lunch.

Mediocre food, friendly service, awful salads( imitation bacon bits and fake cheese).
